RAINY DAY BLEND
grapefruit, bergamot & frankincense
I created this blend to aid feelings of anxiety and depression. The oils used are great for uplifting spirits and inducing a feeling of calmness and quietness. The perfect scent for one of those mentally-rainy days.
Bergamot has a balancing effect on the body and mind. It elevates low mood, enhancing wellbeing. The sweet aroma acts as an antidepressant by balancing mood and easing anxiety. It is also an ingredient in Earl Grey tea.
Grapefruit has an energising and stimulation effect. It boosts circulation, and makes you feel fresh. It combats tiredness and lifts the spirits and is perfect for when you’re feeling mentally exhausted.
Frankincense oil helps sooth and calm frayed nerves, which is perfect for anxiety, stress and general feeling of being overwhelmed. It helps fight colds by soothing mucous membranes, calming and deepening breathing and easing coughs.
The beautiful blue colour is achieved using Butterfly Pea flower, no artificial dyes here!
Like the fruit itself, the essential oil of grapefruit is rich in antioxidants. Primarily, it has a wealth of vitamin C.
